Common questions

How do I delete my account?

Open Playdate and go to Profile → Delete account. Confirm twice. Your account, dogs, photos, swipes, matches, messages, and walks are removed immediately and cannot be recovered.

How do I report or block another user?

Open the user’s card and tap More. Choose Report (pick a reason) or Block. Blocking removes any existing match and prevents you from seeing each other again. We review reports within 24 hours.

I forgot my password.

On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password. We’ll send a reset link to your account email.

How does matching work?

You set a single matching pin and a radius. We show you dogs whose owners have set their own pin inside that radius. We never share your exact location with another user; only an approximate distance.

Why don’t I see any dogs in the deck?

Either your matching pin isn’t set, or there aren’t any owners in your radius yet. Try widening the radius from Profile → Matching location. Playdate is in beta and the deck fills up as more owners join your area.

Is Playdate available outside Norway?

Not yet. The beta is open in Norway first; Android and other countries are planned for autumn 2026. If you’d like to be notified when we launch in your area, email hi@playdate.dog.

Does Playdate cost anything?

Playdate is free during the beta. If we ever introduce paid features, we’ll tell you in advance and the core matching flow will stay free.
